Explore the world.Verify where you've been.Build your story.
To write a review, you have to have been there. VVE verifies your visit with photo, location and time, and every district you visit opens up on your map.
Right now
The latest verified visits, delayed by at least 15 minutes and with rounded times, so nobody's current whereabouts can be read.

Three steps: go, shoot, get verified
Go
See places nearby, featured lists and reviews only from people who actually went. Then go somewhere you like.
Shoot
While you're there, take your photo with the in-app camera, rate it, write your review. Your private note stays yours.
Get verified
VVE weighs photo, location and time signals together. Once your visit is verified, the district opens on your map.
Every visit becomes four things
Proof
Photo, location and time come together. You only ever see one of three statuses.
Trust
Reviews come from someone who really went. Only verified visits count towards a place's rating.
Guide

VVE doesn't guarantee a review is accurate; it verifies the experience was real.
Every review carries one of three badges
Privacy promises
- Your exact location is never shown anywhere. Location and EXIF data are stripped from the published copy of your photos.
- Your private note is always private, even when the EDI is public.
- No background location tracking. Location is read only when you take an action.
- The verification score is never shown to anyone. Everybody sees only the status.

Frequently asked
What is VVE?
VVE records the places you go as verified visits. You take a photo, pick the place and rate it. Your records build a personal map, a travel archive and a city guide.
What does EDI mean?
EDI comes from Veni Vidi Edi: I came, I saw, I recorded. It's the record of a visit: photo, place, date, rating, review, private note and verification result.
How is a visit verified?
Signals such as the photo's capture time and source, the device location at that moment and the distance to the place are weighed together. A photo from the in-app camera is the strongest signal. You end up seeing one of three statuses.
Can others see my location?
No. Your exact location and your photo's EXIF data appear on no public surface. In the public feed a visit shows up at least 15 minutes later, with only the place and district name. There is no background location tracking.
Who can see my private note?
Only you. A private note is never shared, even when the EDI is public. You can also make the whole EDI private.
How is a place's rating calculated?
Only verified visits count, and the rating appears after at least three verified visits. Partly verified and saved reviews show with their badge but don't affect the rating.
Which cities does it work in?
We're starting with Istanbul's 39 districts and tracking progress at district level across Türkiye. Place data comes from Foursquare OS Places, boundaries from geoBoundaries and OpenStreetMap.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. In Settings you can download all your data or delete your account; the account closes immediately and your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.
